1. Who we are

Vibelo ("we", "us") operates getvibelo.com and the Vibelo app. Contact: support@getvibelo.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account: name, email, phone (optional), profile photo, bio, interests.
• Location: coarse or precise location when you enable Radar or check in — used to surface nearby people, venues, and events.
• Activity: check-ins, matches, event registrations, messages, buzz posts, votes, and analytics events.
• Device: device type, OS, browser, IP, and crash logs for reliability.
• Payments: handled by Stripe/Paystack — we store only the transaction reference, not card numbers.

3. How we use it

• Provide the core product: matching, check-ins, event hubs, virtual booths, notifications.
• Keep people safe: moderation, spam and abuse detection.
• Improve the product: aggregated analytics and A/B testing.
• Communicate: transactional emails (receipts, event updates) and, only if you opt in, product news.

4. Sharing

• With other users: your public profile, check-ins you make visible, and content you post.
• With event organizers and venues: your registration details for events you register for.
• With processors: Supabase (hosting/database), Stripe & Paystack (payments), Mailgun (email delivery), Google (auth & maps). Each is bound by data-processing agreements.
• We do not sell your personal data.

5. Your controls

• Edit or delete your profile from Settings.
• Turn Radar and location off at any time.
• Request a full data export or account deletion by emailing support@getvibelo.com — we act within 30 days.

6. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. After deletion, backups roll off within 90 days. Anonymised analytics may be retained longer.

7. Children

Vibelo is intended for people 16+. We remove accounts we learn belong to under-16s.

8. International transfers

Data may be processed in the US, EU, and Nigeria. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest, row-level security on our database, and access controls internally. No system is perfect — please report issues to support@getvibelo.com.

10. Changes

We'll post material updates here and, when appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
